Vinyl Siding is covered by a “manufacturers limited warranty” (Life-Time, transferable at resale of home to a 50 year warranty) which is enforced only if the manufacturers written siding procedures are followed (as is the case with all siding warranties).

If those procedures are not followed, your only choice is to try and remedy the situation through the installing contractor.

Labor Warranty

Virginia state law does not require a labor warranty. This is why dealing with a stable, established company is so vitally important.

As your contractor, Aikey Construction warrants all workmanship for the life of the structure as long as the purchaser of the work owns the property. Should the purchaser sell the property, the warranty shall be transferred to the new owner and shall be amended to cover all workmanship for fifty (50) years from the completion date.

All materials are covered by the manufacturers warranty, and any material claims shall be routed to the manufacturer. Materials are covered in this warranty only if installation was the cause of material failure.
